	NPO / SMME FREE WORKSHOPS - 2019. About NPO / SMME Workshops. NPO Association will still conduct NPO Compliance workshops, even though support from companies is low. The method in which the workshops are conducted entail teaming up with an NPO organisation that will host the workshop. Assoc for NPO's will conducted the workshop on the platform of the hosting organisation. The hosting organisation arranges: *  a venue (church, school, community hall or at a members home). *  invite its members, members of the community to attande the workshop. * arrange light refreshements for the delegates. Delegates are encouraged to pay a reasonable workshop fee/donation from R50 to assist the hosting organisation with venue and light refreshements. The association will conduct a workshop to 30 or more delegates. How to book a workshop: The hosting organisation will request the workshop by submitting two possible dates for the workshop. The association will select and reserve a vacant date on which the workshop can be conducted. The hosting organisation may then book the workshop and approval, the hosting organisation may start planning the workshop *venue, invited delegates, etc.) Workshop Contents: Workshops cover topics for both NPO's and SMME. * Registrations. (CICP, NPO Direcorate) * Compliance (SARS, Tax Exemption, UIF, WCA) * Bookkepeng, Accounting and Audits. * NPO / SMME Controlling Bodies. * Funding Guidelines (SOCDEV, Lottery etc.) Workshop Duration: 4 hours. Acknowledging Delegates: Certificates of attendance. (endorsed by Accountant and SAIT) Free Workshops: The Association and Workshop Facilitators comprising of accountants and Tax Practitioners conduct Workshop on volunteer basis. Workshop will be conducted free of charge of hosted by a registered NPO organtisation. Businesses and Companies that wish to host these workshops are required to pay only the travelling expenses for our SDF. Support from Business: Business/Companies may sponsor a FREE NPO/SMME Workshop to empower their community, SMME business, NPO Practitioners, youth with information leading to compliance and guidelines required by government departments.   2016 Workshop at Mmabatho, Mafikeng NW hosted by Bishop Skommer. 2012 Workshop Durban - Kwa-Zulu Natal 2013 Workshop Port St. Johns - Eastern Cape. hosted by Port St. Johns Christian Youth 2015 Workshop at Katlehong Gauteng Hosted by Katlehong Youth Centre
